Voice Announcements vs Visual Reminders: Why Voice Works Better for ADHD
You already know this from experience: Setting 10 alarms doesn't help. Visual reminders on your phone sit unread while you hyperfocus. Notifications get lost in the noise.
But voice announcements work. Why?

3. No Working Memory Needed
A visual reminder requires you to: (1) see it, (2) read it, (3) process it, (4) remember what it means. A voice announcement is: (1) hear "it's 2 o'clock", (2) done. The information arrives pre-processed.
4. Doesn't Interrupt Flow as Harshly
