Support & Help
Get help with Flight Mode Chat and learn how to make the most of Bluetooth mesh messaging.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does Flight Mode Chat work without internet?
Flight Mode Chat creates a decentralized mesh network using Bluetooth LE. Each phone connects directly to nearby devices, creating a web of connections that relay messages peer-to-peer. No internet, no servers—just direct phone-to-phone communication.
Is Flight Mode Chat really end-to-end encrypted?
Yes! All messages are end-to-end encrypted and never touch corporate servers. Your conversations stay between you and your contacts—no data collection, no tracking, complete privacy.
How far can Flight Mode Chat reach?
Bluetooth LE typically reaches 30-100+ meters depending on conditions. The mesh network extends that range as more people connect—each phone acts as a relay, expanding the network outward.
Perfect for flights—how does it work on an airplane?
Enable Airplane Mode but keep Bluetooth on. Flight Mode Chat uses Bluetooth mesh instead of cellular or WiFi. Chat with passengers nearby without WiFi or cellular—completely offline and compliant with flight regulations.
What happens if one person loses connection?
The mesh network automatically reroutes around disconnected devices. Other nearby users relay your messages through alternative paths, so communication continues as long as there's a connected path to your recipient.
