Great Batch Photo Editing + Much, Much More

As a professional sports photographer, this app allows you to quickly batch resize images, plus do so much more. This app has even eliminated the need for me to edit my photos on a PC. As a photographer who needs to provide a selection of photos during a sporting event for the team to use for their social media, I am able to quickly transfer photos from my DSLR camera to my iPad using the camera makers app. Even though Batchly allows for bulk editing of photos, I utilize a pro photography editing app to quickly crop and touch up images as needed. The next step is where the Batchly app shines, as it allows me to do several batch editing steps the other apps don’t do. This app allows you to batch resize all of the images to the same dimensions utilizing the long edge length, for when you have both portrait and landscape style photos. This keeps all of the images uniform in size and file size. The are several ratio options that can be select as well. Resizing and selecting the quality output reduces the files size of a 50-60MP photo, also allowing for quicker uploads to my website for the client to quickly view and download as desired. This app goes one step further and allows you to add additional text to the original file name, such as the date, and in my case, I also add my name as well. The app then replaces the original photos in the Photo app, moving the originals to the deleted folder (just in case) and gives you a new set of uniformed photos. The photos can also be exported to the Files app. This then allows for quick and easy uploading or sharing of the photos. When I first tried this app, it initially did not do some of the amazing features that it currently does, but In providing feedback to the app developer, they took those suggestions and quickly implemented them, exceeding my expectations. This is a great little app, with big results.

Durante un partido tengo que darle al equipo una selección de fotos para sus redes; paso las imágenes de inmediato de la réflex al iPad con la app del fabricante. Recorto y hago los ajustes finos en una app de edición profesional, pero después Batchly se luce, porque hace varias tareas por lotes que otras apps no hacen. Cuando tengo fotos verticales y horizontales mezcladas, las dejo todas del mismo tamaño según el largo del lado mayor, para que medidas y peso de archivo sean parejos; también hay varias proporciones. Con los ajustes de tamaño y calidad, las fotos de 50 a 60 megapíxeles pesan menos, se suben más rápido a mi sitio y los clientes las ven y descargan antes. Además puedo agregar texto, como una fecha, al nombre original del archivo; yo agrego mi nombre. Luego reemplazo los originales en Fotos, que pasan (por seguridad) a Eliminado, y me quedan las fotos nuevas y parejas. También se puede exportar a Archivos para subir y compartir rápido. Los pasos

1. Transferir de la cámara al iPad con la app del fabricante.
2. Elegir y corregir en tu app de edición de siempre. Batchly no es una herramienta de retoque.
3. Igualar en Batchly: Resize por el lado mayor para que verticales y horizontales queden del mismo tamaño; calidad JPEG para subir rápido; texto (fecha, nombre) agregado al nombre del archivo.
4. Exportar a Fotos (reemplazando los originales, que pasan a Eliminado) o a Archivos (una carpeta con fecha por cada exportación).
5. Subir desde Archivos.

Guardado como workflow (Pro), en el medio tiempo basta un toque.
