What photo size should you use for Poshmark, Vinted and Depop?

There’s no single size. Poshmark frames cover photos in 3:4 portrait since its 2026 update, Depop shows a square grid, and Vinted and Facebook Marketplace publish no pixel size at all. Crop each batch to the shape the app shows, keep the item away from the edges, and export around 1200 to 1600 px on the long side.

Platforms change these rules, so check each one’s help pages before a big relisting. The ratios below are what they show buyers as of October 2026.

Why the shape matters more than the pixels

An app that shows 3:4 crops a square or horizontal photo to fit. The sleeve, the shoe tip or the bottom of a dress is what usually gets cut. Cropping it yourself means you choose what stays.

Prepping one shoot for several apps
